SEPTENTRION SPORTS ORGANIZATION (SSO) is an apolitical, non-profit association with unlimited duration. Our head office is in Ngaoundéré Cameroon.
Our Objectives are:
- To promote all sports activities especially in the East and Septentrion part of the country.
- Souring out young talents through basketball Camps, this is a bid to give them professional training, develop new and differents basketball skills and also give the opportunities to play all over the country and all over the world.
- Grant sports scholarships to the most talented and brilliant ones nationally and internationally.
- To organize through SSO CARE charity activities or feires; this we do in orphanages, street children, refugies; we also organize freewill donation jamboree, freewill donation meals, we also organize fundraisers, to raise funds to help the needy and also we use on children in our basketball camps.

These are the different basketball teams mostly from the Northern part of the country and a few other teams from other regions like Centre and Littoral. Those teams turn up to support us in our plight in the promotion of basketball activities in the Northern part of the country.

Am a player from Garoua, precisely the captain of GARBA basketball team. Since we hardly had competitions or come together here; back in those days we has travel to Yaounde or Douala to witness basketball competitions since there really was know here; so the coming of the SSO has been of great help to basketball lovers that we are. My team and myself have participated in almost, if not all the edition of the Septentrion Tournaments where we gained two trophees.

Owing to the SSO, the Northern part of the country can be proud to count as many referees in their regions. It was very difficult to count up to 3 or 4 referees here before, but with SSO who have been organising clinics to train more and more referees here we can only be grateful and thankful.
We will equally be happy if many more of such organizations can visit our regions because we have got hidden talents here.

The Camp by SSO 2023 MVP
The coming into play of this Organization in the Northern part of the country has been of so much good and help to me and many of my peers. This is because they brought up basketball camps for youths, something unheard of in this part of the country.
I learned so much in this camp, i acquired new skills and much more; during one of their camps, i even emerged as the MVP the Camp By SSO 2023.

On December 24th 2023, SSO CARE visited one of the orphanage in Ngaoundere, with a lot of gifts and family warm to share with the kids. Being a festive moment for children, the smile on the face of these kids was more than what they expected and the joy was unimaginable.
